Bit O' Candy

If the name sounds a Bit O' Familiar, then no doubt you'll love this treat.


  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups dry powdered milk
  • 1 oz. almond paste


  1. Melt the honey, peanut butter and almond paste together, stirring with a wooden spoon until the mixture reaches the soft crack stage (270 °F). Use a temperature probe or candy thermometer.
  2. Let the mixture cool to 180 °F. Add 1 cup of dry powdered milk and knead until thoroughly combined. Roll onto wax paper to a thickness of about ½ inch.
  3. Cut the candy into strips approximately 2 inches long by ¾" wide. Wrap in wax paper to store.
